Condolence: JC and family - we are so saddened to hear the news.

We share many of the memories that others have written so wonderfully about.

Yet another example of Deb's giving personality was at the MS 100 rides that we enjoyed together. We remember her voice leading our group "Roadscrapers!"

Our thoughts and prayers to JC and all of Deb's friends and family.

Condolence: JC, I only met you and Debbie once, but it was so lovely to talk with "bee people." I wish that I had time to know her better, but our brief afternoon together, while not in the happiest of places, was something that I will cherish always.

Condolence: I knew Deb from her childhood days when she lived in Rahway across the street from the Vails.Our families went to the same church: 2nd Presbyterian. My youmgest brother, Philip, was born the same year she.Reading about her adulthood I can tell she had great enthusiasm.She was a woman of many accomplishments.To have relished life as she did and to have made a difference in others' lives is an achievement.It was much too soon for her to depart.

Condolence: It's through tears that I write this... what a special lady. My mentor and my friend. I am blessed to have known you and have had my life touched by your presence. I will forever cherish the memories of the last few years we shared SCBA moments together. You have made an imprint on my heart forever. Bee free my friend.... Much love always. XO

Condolence: After first meeting Deb at the EDYAP (Eastern Division Young Adult Patroller) event in ’09 we quickly became good friends. We would request rooming together at the annual event and it became a joke to check with one another before going to ensure we didn’t both buy the same item, style, and color from Costco. It happened all too often! Deb was the easiest roomie to get along with and we would announce our arrival back at the condo, after a day of skiing and chaperoning the young patrollers, by calling out to one another with the all too familiar “honey, I’m home.” As NSP Regional Young Adult Advisors we discussed the best ways for recruiting, retention, and general problem solving when it came to working with young patrollers. I will dearly miss her companionship, camaraderie, insights on issues, and most importantly her friendship. May she forever be making gentle turns in fresh powder.
