Sonia worked as the Principal’s Secretary at Lounsberry Hollow School in Vernon Twp., NJ for many years before retiring. She enjoyed playing Mah Jong and trips to the casinos.

Sonia is predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Patrick Mulrooney(2014) and is the devoted mother of Kathleen Mulrooney of Vernon Twp., NJ and Jeanne Mulrooney of Vernon Twp., NJ. Loving grandmother of Jared John, Alyssa and Alayna Carcich. Dear sister of Walter Kempka of Brockport, NY and Helen Kempka of Willis, TX. Dear sister in law of Joan Morrison of Reno, NV.
