Obituary for Ralph Limon Rojas

Franklin, NJ: Ralph Limon Rojas, 84 years old, died unexpectedly at home on Thursday, September 14, 2017. Born to Camilo and Maria Rojas in Pratt, Kansas, he had lived in Ogdensburg, NJ before moving to Franklin, NJ in 1998.

Ralph served with the United States Army during the Korean War and then worked as an industrial machinist repair mechanic for Picatinny Arsenal, Dover, NJ for many years before retiring in the 80’s. Ralph was a life member of the Sparta Elks Lodge # 2356, a member of American Legion Post # 86, Pratt, Kansas and a parishioner of St. Thomas of Aquin RC Church, Ogdensburg, NJ. He enjoyed woodworking in his shed and was an accomplished master carpenter, he also enjoyed owning and driving his antique cars and playing card games. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle.

Ralph is predeceased by his brothers, Joseph, Sach, Charlie and Benny Rojas and his sisters, Cora and Philis Rojas and is the beloved husband for 61 years of Dolores Rojas(nee Mora) of Franklin, NJ. Devoted father of Ralph Rojas of Franklin, NJ and Ricardo Rojas and his wife, Robin of Ogdensburg, NJ. Loving grandfather of Justin, Alejandro and Tara Floyd and her husband, Nate. Cherished great grandfather of Diego and Arianna. Dear brother of Johnny Rojas and his wife, Bonnie of Pratt, KS and Amilio Rojas of Pratt, KS. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive their friends at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, NJ on Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 2-6 PM. Funeral from the funeral home on Monday, September 18, 2017 at 9:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas of Aquin RC Church, Ogdensburg, NJ at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at St. Thomas Cemetery, Ogdensburg, NJ. American Legion and Elks services will be Sunday at the funeral home.
