Hardyston Twp, Hamburg, NJ: The much-loved Robert J. Weeks, 83 years old died early Saturday morning, Oct 7, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Kearny, NJ to Herbert V. & Adele Weeks. Robert, also known as Bob, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from NJIT, formerly known as Newark College of Engineering. Robert received an Honorary Discharge after serving in the US Army during the Korean War. Bob Weeks will be fondly remembered for his generous spirit, open mind and steadfast loyalty to family and friends, by all who knew him.
Bob married Catherine Miranda from Haskell, NJ in 1960 & would have been married for 57 years on Nov. 26 of this year. Robert is the much loved & devoted father of Christine Weeks of New Hope, PA & Pamela Weeks & her husband, Donald Andreas of Bangor, PA. Loving brother of Adele Cawley & husband Thomas of Princeton, NJ & loving brother of Paul Weeks & wife Jeannette of Somerset NJ
Robert worked 25 years for Johnson & Johnson in Skillman & New Brunswick, NJ, was then VP for Tupperware in Johnsonville SC, and finally served as Executive VP for Esselte Pendaflex in Watertown NY, retiring in 1996. After retiring Bob and Cathy moved to Crystal Springs in Hamburg NJ to be closer to their daughters.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 on October 11, 2017 at St. Jude The Apostle Church, in Hardyston NJ. Memorial gifts please in lieu of flowers to the Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice, 99 Sparta Ave., Newton, NJ 07860 would be appreciated.
