Pleasant Valley Lake, NJ: Alison Joan Mulholland-Olmstead, 63 years old, died after a long illness at her home on Saturday, October 21, 2017. Born to John Francis and Betty Mulholland in Paterson, NJ, she was raised in East Paterson and moved to the Pleasant Valley Lake section of Vernon Twp., NJ in 1983.

Alison was a very dedicated wife and mother, always doting on her family and friends. She enjoyed time outside and gardening.

Alison is the beloved wife of Ronald Olmstead, the devoted mother of Blair Warren and her husband, John of Wantage Twp., NJ, Amy Kaplan and her husband, Peter of Roosevelt Island, NY, Justin Kittredge of Austin, TX and Kara Kittredge of Vernon Twp., NJ. Step mother of Eric Olmstead of Los Angeles, CA and Lisa Biondio and her husband, Sal of Allamuchy, NJ. Loving grandmother of Jack and Ben Paladeni and Chelsea Kaplan. Step grandmother of Ariona Biondio. Dear sister of Jack Mulholland of Boca Raton, FL, David Mulholland of CA and Brian Mulholland of Guatemala.

The family will receive their friends at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Route 94(1 Vanderhoof Court for GPS), Vernon, NJ on Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 8 to 11 AM. Funeral service to commence at the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Glenwood Cemetery, Vernon Twp., NJ.
