Branchville, NJ: Linda Marian Tartar(nee Jaeger), 68 years old, died unexpectedly at St. Clare's Hospital, Denville, NJ on Monday, March 12, 2018. Born to Henry and Bertha Jaeger in Sussex, NJ, she has been a lifelong resident of Branchville, NJ.

Linda earned her BA in Teaching from Paterson State College and taught at the Frankford Twp. Elementary School for 25 years retiring in 1995. She was a dedicated member of the Frankford Plains United Methodist Church and it's women's group and she also taught Sunday school, vacation bible school and served as organist and choir director. She was a member of the NJEA, the Frankford Twp Senior Club which she also served as Vice President for. She enjoyed playing and teaching piano, baking cookies and pies and was a doting wife, mother and grandmother.

Linda is the beloved wife for 47 years of Clyde Tartar. Devoted mother of Dax Tartar and his wife, Brigid of Jackson, NJ and Jill Tartar and her boyfriend, James Kuhn of Daly City, CA. Loving grandmother of Eamon Tartar. Dear sister of Alfie Jaeger and his wife, Dale of Peyton, CO and Anna Mae Aukema and her husband, Owen of Branchville, NJ. Cherished by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

The family will receive their friends at the Frankford Plains United Methodist Church, 99 Plains Road, Augusta, NJ on Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 10 to 1 PM. Funeral service to commence at 1:00 PM. Interment to follow at Frankford Plains Cemetery.
