Obituary for Albert Edward Muys III

Branchville, NJ: Albert Edward Muys, III, (Butch)71 years old, died unexpectedly at Newton Medical Center on Thursday, March 22, 2018. Born to Albert and Lucille (Calabrese) Muys Jr of Wyckoff, NJ. Albert was A lifetime resident of Sussex County.

Albert served with the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. After serving he went to work for the family business driving trucks then going on to be a heavy equipment operator before retiring from Tilcon in Riverdale, NJ. He was an avid model train and Mack truck enthusiast. He was a member of the New Jersey Live Steamers located at Liberty Corner, NJ and a member of the North Jersey Antique Engine and Machine Club in Frankford, NJ.

Albert was the beloved husband of the late Christine Muys(2016). Survived by Brother Richard Muys and wife Deborah. Daughter Cheryl Rosendale and her husband, Ronald His son Michael Muys. Daughter Mary Muys and her fiancée, Daniel Hendershot. Paulette Hendershot and her husband, Kevin. His six grandchildren Kyle, Lizabeth, Jacob, Ashley, Drew and Eric.

The family will receive their friends at Ferguson Funeral Home, 27 Third Street, Sussex, NJ on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 4- 8 PM. Graveside services will be Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 12 Noon at Frankford Plains Cemetery, Frankford Twp., NJ. Celebration of his life will be held at the Branchville Firehouse on Railroad Ave. Branchville NJ. Following the burial.
