Obituary for Michael J Jameson
Highland Lakes, NJ: Michael Jameson, 66 years old, died unexpectedly at Morristown Medical Center on Thursday, April 5, 2018. Born to Joseph and Marion Jameson in Queens, NY, he had lived in Rutherford, NJ before moving to the Highland Lakes section of Vernon Twp., NJ 30 years ago.
Michael was a postal worker for many years retiring from the Teterboro, NJ office in 2003. He had a passion for music and playing guitar as well as taking great joy in flower gardening. Michael enjoyed trips to the beach and was a doting husband, father and granduncle.
Michael is the beloved husband of Jeanne Jameson(nee Lachapelle) of Highland Lakes, NJ. Devoted father of Leanne Jameson of Marlboro, MA. Dear brother of Rosemary Farrell of Rutherford, NJ, Nancy Dreher of Lake Hopatcong, NJ, Susie Jameson of Rutherford, NJ and Joseph Jameson of Rutherford, NJ. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive their friends at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Route 94(1 Vanderhoof Court), Vernon, NJ on Monday, April 9, 2018 from 2-7 PM. Memorial service will commence at 4 PM on Monday at the funeral home. Cremation is private.
