We are thinking of you all and know Mike is thought of often as are you .I can only hope that the memories you have are making you all smile thinking of him as he had such an infectious laugh and smile himself .May it comfort you to know there are some people we can never forget and mike was one of them. Condolence: When I was a child, I was "best friends" with a Pat Suchdolski, who lived in the 600 block of Palisade Avenue. I lived on New York Avenue. For years we walked to school together every day, along with Joan Rountree. We lost touch even before high school. Since your family roots are also in Jersey City, I'm hoping that this tragedy might lead to a bright spot of renewing friendship. For the last fifty years I have lived in West Milford, a mere few miles from the scene of the accident. After a lifetime of saving lives from fires, how awful for Mike to have died in such a way. I'm sorry that there was a gulf of separation all these years. My very best wishes for comfort and healing for all of you.

Condolence: I would like to offer my prayers and condolences to Mike's family, friends, and to the Jersey City Fire Department as well. I am extremely saddened to hear of his passing. I always felt so comforted when he responded to my home on several occasions to help my Mom (who is resting in peace) and I. I will never forget him, his helping ways, nor his amazing smile.
