Hardyston Township; Leah Mary Cummings (nee Brett) passed away on Wednesday November 30, 2016 at Bentley Assisted Living in Branchville. Leah was born on March 3, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Edward and Rose (nee Dermer) Brett. She was a resident of Bloomingdale, Wayne and Hamburg.

Leah was a Sr. Administrative Assistant for NJEA in Wayne, NJ for 27 years retiring in 1997. Leah enjoyed time spent with her family especially her grandchildren and was an avid mystery novel reader.

Leah is survived by her children Mary Mazzola of Bloomingdale, Susan Stoveken and her husband, John, of Hardyston, and John Cummings and his wife Jenna of Seattle and her 11 grandchildren: Susan Mazzola, Leah Salazar, Laura Staiano, Michael John Mazzola, Gwen Stoveken, John Stoveken, Erica Stoveken, Emilly Stoveken, Ellysa Stoveken, Samuel Cummings, Ayla Cummings and Anna Lusk and two great grandchildren Andrew and Gracie Stoveken.

Relatives and friends will be received on Tuesday Dec. 20th from 7-9pm at the F. John Ramsey Funeral Home One Main Street, Franklin, NJ and are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday Dec. 21st at 10AM at St. John Vianney RC Church 2823 Rt. 23, Stockholm, NJ.
