Condolence: Dear Aunt Ann, Cindy, Patty, Brian and Barbie,
I'm so sorry to hear about Uncle Herbie and even more sorry that Andy and I couldn't make it down to the viewing/funeral. Please know that our thoughts are with you all during this difficult time.
I was just looking through all the photos from his 80th birthday party and I'm so glad we were all able to get together. May all the photos and memories help keep his spirit alive.
Thoughts and prayers,
Andy and Deb
Condolence: Ann and Herbie's Children...I worked with your husband and Dad while in the State Police...often drove with him to and from Trenton, NJ...we had many a conversation and I always found Herb to be a gentleman's gentleman...with Herb, common-sense dictated...I will always remember one of his famous quotes when discussing life's inequities and how people approach an issue: "It all depends on whose ox is being gored"---simple and concise, but the message was clear! That was my friend Herb---a man of high moral and ethical character that was always there to help a friend or stranger in need. God Bless You my friend---we shall meet again. Fred Martens #2215
